Marie loves Fashion

Description

This is a PRINT of a fashion illustration that I drew for the Etsy Love Challenge. There are a few reasons I drew this in response to the "love" challenge. First and foremost I love costume history! And what better inspiration is there than Marie Antionette when it comes to jaw dropping costume? The second element I needed to incorporate is my love of fashion design, that I did with the items in her hands; a spool of thread and pinking sheers, two items readily on hand when draping, sewing, and creating your own fashion.

I feel like she's just finished making her dress and is looking up thinking about what project she could start next!
