Leda and the Swan is from Ancient Greek mythology. The story goes that Zeus lay with Leda on the same night as her husband (the King of Sparta). Zeus came to Leda in the form of a swan and she bore two eggs.

I created this necklace to make the swan appear to be embracing you. Its placement gives the illusion that its hugging your neck. You are Leda, strong beautiful and sensual. A mere plaything of the Gods. The Jet stone represents the dark of night in which Zeus crept into your bed chamber.
