Despite growing up at the opposite end of the garden Billy the tomato and Mikey the strawberry are the best of friends. On sunny days I always find them together, climbing the apple tree, digging for buried treasure in the compost heap, and playing hide-and-go-seek in the potting shed. And while they may be the exact same shade of red, Mikey is the more adventurous of the two, always planning their next escapade, while Billy prefers to pass his spare time lying in the sun and reading a good mystery novel.

Both of these fellows are sewn from pure wool felt and detailed with embroidery. Mikey, who stands 2 inches (5 cm) tall, is the perfect size for wandering, happy to hitch a ride in a sewing basket or mending box. Billy, on the other hand, is a plump and sedate 3.5 inches (9 cm) in diameter and 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) tall. Both are stuffed to the brim with fiberfill.

Because either of this pair might be mistaken for fresh produce and gobbled right up, Billy and Mikey are not intended for small children, especially those under the age of three.
