Description

This single skein of two-ply wool and silk yarn is almost cottony soft, with strands of bronze, copper, and steel-colored silk plied here and there throughout the aubergine (fancy French word for "eggplant") colored wool. The picture is somewhat close to the way the yarn looks--it's slightly more purple and less gray than the photo.

There are approximately 86 yards (1.5 oz; 8 wpi), and you can probably use a U.S. size 8 or 9 knitting needle. The yarn is from a smoke-free home, and stored in sealed containers with lavender sachets to keep away moths. Hand wash or dry clean only!
