This fabric art collage is designed from a picture I took on an island boat tour in the area of Machias, Maine.10" x 8" (25.40 cm x 20.32 cm)
Made from cotton print and hand-dyed fabrics. Free-motion quilting on the background, with satin-stitching using variegated cotton embroidery threads in blues, teals and black/grey.
The border is gallery wrapped on a stretched canvas frame, wired to hang like a regular painting.
