This fabric art collage depicts a view of the bridge on the Seine, Pont au Change, overlooking the Palais de Justice on Ile de la Cite.10" x 8" (25.40 cm x 20.32 cm)
The sky, water, trees and borders are dupioni silk. The Palais and bridge are cotton prints with satin stitching. Free
motion stitching with rayon and monofilament thread gives greater texture and detail.
The border is gallery wrapped on a stretched canvas frame, wired to hang like a regular painting.
This piece was recently exhibited in the Faraway Places National Juried Exhibition, Stamford Art Association, Stamford, CT.
