MORAL KIOSK Anarchy Batts - 5.3 oz.

I love making my combed roving balls on the DIY hackle, but as cool as that process is, it tends to leave a lot of good, usable fiber left on the hackle after the combing is done. I've been obsessively squirreling away all of these good bits of fiber in anticipation of the day that I would finally be able to card them all together in wonderfully squishy, nubby batts.

Well, guess who finally got a drum carder? :)

These Anarchy batts are carded together using all of those good leftover bits of fiber that didn't make it through the diz. Anything goes. Expect these batts to contain anything that normally gets included in my roving balls, from wool to ramie, viscose to silk, bamboo to bling, etc. I also include some hand-dyed locks of misc. woolly fleeces just to keep things interesting.

Keep in mind that these batts are full of nubbly, textured goodness. These batts will be perfect for spinning funky art yarns, not so much for trying to spin fine laceweight yarn.

Since I tend to make my batts a little thinner than I think most people tend to, I'm selling my Anarchy batts in sets of two. Each batt is unique and has its own personality and make-up.

This batch o' batts are named after R.E.M. songs. Athens, Georgia, represent!

This set of batts weighs a total of 5.3 ounces.
