Land and sea cast birch bark and real sea glass necklace

This is a great collaboration piece from Twigs and Heather. For the most part Heather and I (Kerry Alice) work on our own pieces and our pieces definitely show our personalities. But sometimes our unique styles come together and boy is it nice.

This pieces is an aqua piece of bezeled seaglass hanging from a cast, sterling silver piece of birch bark. Notice the AWESOME detail of the birch. The pieces of birch really grow with you too. The more you wear it, the more the texture comes to life as it naturally oxidizes.

This is real sea glass picked off the coast of Nahant MA. It is a vibrant kelly green. The birch measures approx. 7/8 inch long and wide. The sea glass is 3/8 inch long and 1/2 inch at it's widest.
The whole piece hangs almost 1 1/2 inches from top of birch to bottom of sea glass. The sterling silver chain is 18 inches long.
