Deep pressure is often needed for children with sensory processing disorders. I find these belts calm and provide consistent proprioceptive input to the trunk of the child. I make these in adjustable and fixed. The adjustable belts can be let in or let out depending on the needs of the child each time. Like belly bands, these also are great for those who follow the fashions but don’t want to share more than they wanted (Nice cover up for those low waisted jeans).

This listing is for an adjustable compression belt. It is made out of pink cotton/lycra ribbed fabric and is 8 1/2” high to accommodate the child from waist to chest. It is 22” diameter (NOT STRETCHED) and has 2 strips of Velcro for closure. The strips are 2” apart so one can choose how tight the belt should be each day. Each day is different so this changes to adapt to the child’s need. Please be sure to measure your child accurately to be sure this would be a good fit. One wants the compression belt to be compression but not confining or interfering with breathing.
