This listing is for the large oval breastmilk pendant with a large heart milk bead. The oval pendants measure 1-1/8" x 1-1/2".

Breastfeeding has changed my life, expanded my mind, and connected me to my boys in ways I could have never imagined. I am so very passionate about my children and amazed that my milk has helped them grow so beautifully. What an extraordinary power to MAKE MILK, and I woud do anything to preserve that forever. These beautiful pendants do just that, and last as a visual keepsake that you can pass to your children as they become parents. To see that precious milk bead preserved forever... it's beautiful to me and I hope you agree.

Pendant Details:
If you would like to get a pendant for each of your children I offer a buy one get one 1/2 off for each pendant purchased. BOGO 1/2 off is only good for one milk source, not vaild for two seperate milk sources (like if you were buying one for yourself and a friend - sorry). I am also able to add a larger number of milk beads to the pendant depending on the size pendant you choose. The more milk beads the thicker the pendant though, just keep that in mind. If you have a design in mind that you don't see in my shop please convo me, I also have many other mold for the resin such as teardrops and hearts.

This is a lengthy process. I first have to plasticize your milk, seal the milk bead, and then I embed it in resin. The resin then needs to cure completely. So I need a minimum of 4 weeks to factor in your shipping the milk to me and the time it will take me to make it. My process is completely sterile. I will put great care and respect to preserve YOUR milk as an everlasting keepsake to your precious nursing expierence. Please know that I will in fact use YOUR milk, as I would expect the same in trusting someone with my own as it is something so personal. From one mama to another, you can trust me.

Your pendant will have a small drilled hole and ring for strining on your necklace. A necklace is NOT included in this listing, but I do have many necklaces to add on your order in my shop.

Resin naturally forms bubbles in the pouring process, and as I embed your milk I have to do it in steps which create more bubbles than usual as the resin and milk try and 'react' to one another. Every effort is put into producing as few bubbles as possible, but still tiny bubbles will be seen. I think this actually gives it character and looks very romantic and magical, giving it an organic appearance.

I have found in several cases the milk bead begins to turn a golden color with time. I cannot guarantee it won't happen, I just wanted to throw this out there so there are no surprises. It is a reaction with the milk and resin - sometimes it happens, most of the time it does not - it's just dependant on that particular milk.

Caring for your Pendant:
The milk bead is placed within resin that makes it water resistant, but please try to keep it away from water. With something so precious my greatest recommendation is to treat it like your pearls and take it off before showering or sleeping, then putting it back on to start your day. This pendant will also make a fine nursing necklace too, and how appropriate with your milk inside! Just add on a beautiful adjustable silk necklace from my shop. It is a very durable gem and smooth on little hands. I often find myself rubbing my pendant as a 'worry bead' or something of that nature as it is very calming in sense.

Shipping Details:
You will need to ship your milk to me. I only need a small amount, aprox around a tablespoon per milk bead, and it needs to be shipped securely in a sealed bag, breastmilk bags have worked well as they are thick (double bagging is helpful). Making a recycled mailer with cardboard is also helpful as it will protect against punctures, I have also had mamas simply send in a letter envelope too with no issues. Upon receiving your payment I will give you my address to ship your milk with whatever carrier you choose, and shipping expenses to me is your responsibility and not included in the price. This part is VERY important... Please include your name, email, ship to address, your pendant details, and that you are from Etsy in a note with your milk.
