Vintage Painted Orchid Pin

Description

This piece is also from my late mother's collection of orchid related jewelry.
This piece was commercially produced. It is a representation of a cattlya type orchid. It has a satin finish on the back, and a hand painted matte finish on the front.
I have two of these - the other is white. The paint cracked on the other piece, and I can definitely identify the base metal as copper. The pin and the bar attachment on the back are probably steel.
The piece is 60 mm across, and 65 mm high.
