Vintage Japanese Glass Flower Beads and Vintage Papier Mache earrings.A vintage japanese glass flower beads, in a dark rose pink graces a shining deep turquoise-green Vintage Papier Mache bead. The lovely bright and glossy cluster simply hang from elongated kidney wires in antiqued copper for added float and swing.
This kind of beads were manufactured in Japan in the 1940’s - 1970’s. They were formed with a compressed ball of cotton and then coated with a glossy lacquer for a hard and durable finish. They are extremely light-weight in spite of their generally larger & bolder shape and size.
The earrings misures 6 cm/ 2.4 in in length including earwire.
