TWILIGHT REDBUD hand painted silk crepe scarf

Description

I cannot begin to list or describe the colors in this luxurious silk scarf: peaches, golds, pinks, sienna brown, and an electric sky blue. Redbud tree leaves are a natural heart shape; this time of year the seed pods hang heavy on each branch and I wanted to paint them in the colors of the "magic hour" just as the sun disappears.

Painted by me from life with no digital tricks; I use no additives or wax to stiffen the silk, just thickened dyes that will always keep their luxurious colors. 16mm crepe de Chine feels luxurious against the skin and is suitable for any season, day or night, and makes a gift that no one else can have.
