Killer Whales SHAMU Stained Glass Suncatcher

This piece reminds me of Sea World and Shamu the Killer Whale!

I made this Killer Whale & baby whale 3D Stained Glass Suncatcher Whirl in my studio/workshop out of handcut glass using the copper foil method to solder the glass together. Then the solder is polished to make is shine!

There are a total of 6 outer rings made from a translucent textured royal blue jewel tone glass (3) and iridized textured clear glass (3). The Killer Whale is black & White and is jumping out of a blue sea. I think it would look absolutely beautiful displayed in your sun room as a focal point, or in your kitchen or living room! This piece measures approximately 10" X 10" and truly sparkles in the light!

Check out the quality of my work and solder lines. These are indoor pieces and will be instant conversation starters, we like to hang them from the bottom of ceiling fans, in a bay window, or install a hook in the ceiling and place a floor lamp beneath the piece to light it. They are hung on nickel plated jack chain that will not rot and break like cheap fishing line.
