This piece depicts a wild pink lady slipper orchid (Cypripedium acaule). It has been created using professional quality acrylics on hand sculpted leather, sealed with a varnish to enhance the colors and protect the artwork. It was created using techniques which date back centuries, and comes complete with a glass dome and wooden base, so it is ready to display! This is the most realistic version of an orchid that you will find, short of the real thing. Each piece of the flower and groundcover has been meticulously sculpted and painted by hand.

All my pieces are created in a smoke free environment.
