crocheted Build-Your-Own pretty Kitty Bed - Small

Recently, I've started making my kitty beds with a tried and true method: A fluffy, thick wool based yarn for the body, and a complementing yarn lining on the outside. I choose colors based on my kitty's personalities, and then add a wee name tag of frayed canvas in the bottom corner.

What's great about these beds, is that my cats always try to lay places I wish they wouldn't. Example: on my pillow. With the kitty bed, I can set it there for the day, then remove it when I want to use my pillow, without them getting their dander all over it (I'm allergic to them). Plus, when the bed gets dirty, all you have to do is wash it. Additionally, these beds are also fancied by my little Italian Greyhound. These work for small dogs as well.

So how can you order a custom one? In the 'Message to Seller' box in checkout, fill out Step II, Step III. Step I is completed by checking out with the listing of your choice.

STEP I.

I have two different sizes: Small or Large. The Small bed is 16" x 11" inches (42 x 28 cm). And the Large bed is 20" x 15" inches (50 x 38 cm). I have a different listing for each, so choose according to how fat your cat has gotten.

STEP II.

Choose the main section of the kitty bed from the 2nd picture. Then choose the lining from the same picture. If you'd like to see different options compared, let me know and I'll be happy to take a few pictures for you.

STEP III.

In the 3rd picture, you'll see a list of different colors of canvas. Choose which one you adore, and again, I'm always happy to take pictures if you need to narrow your options down. The canvas will have your kitty's name (or anything you'd like me to write) hand-embroidered on it and sewn into the corner of the bed.

That's it! 10% of this listing gets donated to my local animal shelter, the Sacramento SPCA.
