When the earth prepares for winter, it begins to draw us closer. Leaves drift down, animals pack up some food or pack on the pounds for a long nap (humans included...)

Wrapped up, enclosed, cared for...this is what it is to embrace.

Seven Oregon sunstones, one for each day of the week so you always have a bit of light, connected by hand coiled and cut mobius chainmaille links.

Length is 18 inches (45.7 cm) with a small length of chain near the clasp for decoration.

Oregon sunstones are a variety of sunstone that have copper inclusions instead of hematite and are found in Oregon, it is the official state gemstone. The Oregon sunstones used in this necklace were a gift from Etsy seller Dragonclaw http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7126859

Copper will take on a walnut brown color over time. The copper wire used on the sunstones has a protective coating on it and will not darken.

Because of the delicate nature of the wire wrapping I do not recommend heavy cleaning. Simply keeping your necklace out of a dusty environment when not worn should suffice.
