Only one like this!Unique design and handmade creation....antiqued brass chain - measures approx 36 inches.
On this chain are an old beautifully shaped Buddhist amulet from Thailand and an old miniature solid brass prayer bell (which tinkles gently!). One side of the amulet has the raised form of the sitting Buddha, and script is inscribed on the reverse. Amulets such as this are collected avidly by Thai people. Traditionally, they were made by Buddhist monks, and were blessed before being distributed to the people. They are considered to have protective qualities, to repel evil spirits and to bring luck to the owner. This amulet is very old and an original type that are still sought after today.
The amulet measures approx one inch high, and three quarters of an inch across. The bell measures just under three quarters of an inch high and just over half an inch across.
