Coptic bound books are both unique and functional. Because the process requires no adhesive to be applied to the spine, it allows the book to open up to 360 degrees without risking damage to the spine and pages. The ability to open the books completely flat make these ideal for sketchbooks and journals.

Now learn how to bind both hard and soft cover journals for a special discounted cost. Included is both the 7 page hardback and 6 page paperback ebook tutorials for coptic binding. I will walk you through the process of how to create your own journal using step-by-step instructions for the making of covers, creating signatures and binding using a simple chain stitch. The tutorials describe the process for 5x7 inch journals, although you can adjust the measurements to suit your project.

The tutorial file is created in Adobe Illustrator with written instructions and simple illustrations, both created by me. The file will be emailed to you as a pdf file for you to view and print for your own use. These are non-editable files that are copyright protected.
