Adjustable Sling Baby/Toddler Carrier, Gentle Rain

Description

Worn on the right shoulder*, simply thread the fabric through the double stainless steel rings and adjust as necessary. Slip baby into the cradle in any of a number of comfortable positions; laying down, sitting up, toward you, to the side, facing the world, on the hip, or on the back. It adjusts easily to take baby from a sitting up to lying down position. I will include some instructions that I wrote and illustrated myself.

*This may be made for the left shoulder at no extra cost.

The fabric looks nearly the same front and back, so you will not need to twist the fabric in order for the right side to show. This is important because twisting the fabric causes discomfort and reduces the ease of adjustability.

The sling also features a shoulder cap to distribute the weight of the child from off of the top of the shoulder, to more evenly across the back.

The rings are made of stainless STEEL for security and durable beauty.

All weight bearing seams are double stitched.

The carrier folds quite compactly to be stored in a corner of your child's bag when not in use.

I look for the best prices for my materials to keep my costs low. This wrap is sturdily made. Weight bearing seams are double-stitched for reinforcement.

This fabric is a 100% cotton twill poplin. It may be washed in cool water and dried on a low temperature. It will probably need a hot steam iron.

The nursing mother may do so privately covered by the extension of fabric and there is plenty of length here to fit around Dad's broad shoulders. The carrier is cut long to accomodate most men. If you need it shorter, send me a note with your order.
