Reborn Mermaid Witch Doll with Sculpted Tail - Handpainted Scroll Work Pumpkin Vines

She came out of the sea as pretty as can be on the eve of Halloween. This little raven haired mermaid is named Salem.

She was once an 8" Berenguer Lots to Love baby doll until she was reborn into a bewitching mermaid. Her black hair of super soft mohair has been securely rooted so it can be gently styled or washed.

Without the use of a mold, I sculpted her fin with an epoxy clay, so it's quite unique and very sturdy. Pumpkin vine scroll work was delicately painted on the top of her tail and dashes of gold glitter were added for sparkle. Salem's sea shell bra top was formed with paperclay and ribbon and is adhered to her body. Her black witch hat with orange ribbon is removable.

Salem has extra long black eyelashes and beautiful green eyes. Her pointy mermaid ears were formed using epoxy clay. The broom is handmade using twigs and accented with gold glitter. She is painted with acrylic paints and is not sealed.

This doll is recommended for indoor display only and is meant for the adult collector. This item is considered an art sculpture and is not intended as a toy.
