Early Bird and the Worm - original signed woodcut print

Well, he's a bit diabolical looking, isn't he?

And that poor, unsuspecting worm twisting his way along the pavement after a nice spring shower...

Always remember that, all other things being equal, it's so much better to be the bird than the worm. You can't really blame the little guy - after all, a bird's gotta eat, and he probably has a family back in the nest.

This is one of an edition of twenty individually hand printed, signed, and numbered original woodblock prints. As I say, there are only twenty of these. The one which I am offering here is number three. The pictures show print number one - and, since each one is hand printed, you should expect slight differences (very slight differences) in the print you receive. That's part of the fun of a limited edition of hand printed prints!

The actual image size is approximately 5 inches by 7.25 inches, printed on a nice sheet of white woodblock paper (full size of the paper is 9 inches by 12 inches). You can't get the subtle beauty of a print like this from a commercial printing process.

Print does not come matted or framed. It will be shipped flat in a stiff cardboard mailer between sheets of archival quality paper.

Be like the bird, not the worm...
