Cassiopeia (the Queen) possesed unmatched beauty but her boastful ways brought down an entire kingdom. Thoughts about beauty, grace and truth have and where it all fits into the big picture have been filling my head as I stargaze.... The constellation bearing her name contains two of the most luminous stars in the galaxy but there is a lesson to be learned from this "W" shaped constellation about humility and grace and the meaning of real beauty. This original encaustic painting is 8 x 10 inches and is on a 1" thick maple panel. The sides are painted black and the painting is ready to hang unframed.
