Little Red Scraffito Bowl with Black and White Flower
Description
This little scraffito bowl was thrown off the hump from porcelain clay. A footring was carved by hand. After a coating of black slip, the flower was carved into the center using a technique called scraffito or sgraffito. After bisque firing the piece was finished with red and clear glazes and fired again.This is the perfect little bowl for condiments or tiny treats. Also a great keeper for little trinkets, treasures and jewelry.
