ICE Unique Handmade Shimmer Art Brooch ZNE

Description

The other day I was making some homemade iced coffees, when I took a moment to take in the beauty of the ice cubes. Their interiors were like looking into another world, full of bubbles, cracks and faint glints of glitter.
And so my brooch ICE came about....

Onto a doubled piece of white felt I have handstitched:
-silver-clear czech glass beads, some form a net over a piece of beach glass found on one of our local beaches in Sidney B.C.
-3 smokey vintage plastic beads from a deconstructed necklace
-shards of real soft pink quartz
-pieces from a vintage rhinestone necklace
-silver & pearl coloured sequins
-a light sprinkling of silver glitter

Edges were blanket stitched & a glued piece of felt on the back covers the threadwork.
Signed with my initial 'T'.

Brooch is 1 1/4" wide x 4" high.

All creations are made from my hands, heart & crazy imagination, they've got that one-of-a-kind (ooak)
uniqueness ! My finishing touches may have a shabby look which are intentional ♥
