The color of the deep green sea is something that will have people stopping, looking and asking, “Where did you get those?” This triple strand choker is made from potato and blister pearls with rondelle crystals interspersed through out to catch the light and sparkle. The color has been enhanced and has a fantastic glossy luster. The necklace is roughly 18 inches in length

These are freshwater cultured pearls. The newest rage. What is a blister pearl? They are real pearls - the irritant has been put up against the shell of the oyster and after the pearl formed a section of shell was cut out with the pearl. A blister pearl (also called a bouton pearl) is a pearl that developed attached to the inside of a mollusk's shell. This type of pearl must be cut off the shell, and is therefore hemispherical.
