FrumsGlassMenagerie - Greyhound glass pin

Description

An upcycled piece of art glass was fused at temperatures near 1500 degree Fahrenheit and slowly cooled or annealed in a kiln. A sitting greyhound was etched and painted with a silver metallic paint. Pin measures approximately 1.5 inches high.

(While the paint is not as permanent as kiln fired paints, it is water resistant and should last for many years if not cleansed with an abrasive. Similar pins in the artists collection, made in 2002, look like new.)
