A Fairy Box for the most precious of treasures!

This beautiful box is made to look old as if it was pulled from the shelves of an ancient castle library. I just love the way it looks !

Hand painted inside and out. The outside is painted in shades of rich burgundy colors. I then use a special texturing technique to give it an old leather look. Delicate swirls & embellishments on the cover were drawn by hand using gold leaf. The amazing laser cut fairy was purchased from the wonderful Etsy shop porkchopshow. Extremely well done on high quality black card stock. She is delicate and beautiful.

The inside is painted a glossy black and I have made a velvet cushion to pad the bottom of the box so that your precious treasures are protected. There is also a lovely horse medallion that is a fixed to the inside of the top of the lid which makes it beautiful to look at inside every time you open it!
The outside of the box has been treated with several coats of polyurethane, to protect it from moisture and scratches and give it a rich, warm luster.
This box is 9" L X 3" D X 6 1/4" W

Perfect for you own fairy stash of gems and trinkets, tarot cards, found items or whatever your heart desires. This treasure box is a treasure in itself!
