Authentic HIPPIE outfit for your doll, handmade in the 60's

Description

This set came from an estate sale lot of vintage handmade doll clothes, all dating from the 60's and early 70's.
These must have been stitched up by some hip Mom or skillful teen...

The blouse is a bit roomy for Blythe, but with a little tug here and there, it looks the way it does in my photos.
The set would probably fit Barbie, but I don't own one, so I cannot check to be sure.

The SHIRT is white cotton. There is what looks like age discolouration around the cuffs (please see my photos).
I don't know if this can be washed or bleached out.
It fastens at the back with two snaps.

The PANTS are bright red, very soft, and have a fine pattern of vertical lines that imitates the look of corduroy.
The waist is very high and tapered, and closes with one snap.
There is one fine tear, along the inner thigh, near the crotch.
It follows the seam, is less than half a centimeter long, and doesn't show when the pants are on.

Both are trimmed with plenty of black and white braided cording,
and a fringe of looped thread.

BONUS:
A set of authentic LOVE BEADS for dolly!
Years ago, my Mother gave me a bunch of her old love beads,
and one of the strands was broken. I have taken some of the beads and restrung them on new thread to make a doll-sized necklace
to complete the fun ^^

I have a smoke free home,
and do not smell any smoke on the item,
but because of its age, I can't guarantee that it's never been in a smoking home.
It has been hand-laundered with natural Lavender detergent.
