Merino Felt Purse - Black Floral

Here’s a soft merino wool felt purse that’s great for carrying small treasures.

When closed, it measures 3 ½” x 5 ½ - 5 ¾”. The size is a bit rambling because the felt has a naturally uneven edge.

I made the felt using the seemingly magical wet felting method, which involves hours of strenuous, yet rewarding, work. I then hand stitched the purse with cotton yarn and added the button.

As always, the colours on your monitor may differ from the actual wool a bit. So, here’s a list of the colours. The felt is black with deep pink, orange, yellow, green and turquoise. The yarn is a cross between pink and lavender and the button is violet.
