Luella's Umbrella original mixed media art
Description
This work was inspired by my toddler son, who used to call an umbrella a "luella." Drawing on the cuteness of his little voice and mispronunciation, I made Luella a small, sleepy mouse who's trying to keep dry.Luella's Umbrella is acrylic, scrapbook paper and papers cut from magazines and ink on 8"x8" wooden board. At about two inches thick, it looks great hanging on a wall or free standing on a desk or bookshelf.
