Oyanara is a truly unique (OOAK) art doll from the 2009 Doll Shaman line by STORM (stormantic).

Doll Shaman uses 1:6 scale dolls (Barbie, GI Joe, Star Wars) as a base for brand new characters who come from a magickal fantasy world. Doll Shaman dolls are embodiments of spirit in doll form and each one has been specifically designed to spark the power of your imagination.

Each doll has had their factory face paint removed and then been lovingly repainted with a new facial design (and then sealed). Each outfit is carefully handmade. A handwritten biography and a display stand accompanies each doll.

Oyanara is dressed in a handmade outfit of faux fur, metal necklace and a beaded belt. Her dress is not removable, but her boots are. Her hair is crimped. Originally, Oyanara was Generation Girl Barbie doll, but her body is from a different Barbie line.

Her bio states:

"Deep within the sacred jungles, there is a woman lives only with animals native to the land. She paints her face, wears the skins of her friends and prays to the spirits of her ancestors. She is akin to a force of nature because she has learned to tame her fears. She has power. She is freedom. Let her show you your untamed side."
