DRINK UP from a STEERHORN, AUSTRIAN FASHION historical art print
Description
Fun black & white print of an old photo taken during or before the 30's in Austria, showcasing traditional ethnic dress of the region as a man drinks from a cup made of a steerhorn once commonly used in the region. A great gift for anyone who digs fashion, the history of clothing, or someone very interested in this particular culture. This image was originally taken on or before 1938 and was reprinted in an American publication, featuring ethnic / traditional fashions in 1956. The “JoyandWhimsy” signature is not on actual item, just this scanned image. It seems to be a photograph that was intricately colored/painted over. Features short text blurb and page number below in white border that can be matted/framed over. Picture itself measures 7 ½ x 5 inches, set in a white border so including the border, the entire print measures 9 ½ x 6 inches.
