Felted wool tote handbag purse -- red, pink, ruby, black

I've been a knitter for 25 years. In that time I bet I've made about 10 red sweaters, either for me or for others. So...I have a lot of red yarn bits around the house. One afternoon I gathered them all up and VOILA! I had enough for this great bag.

There are about 5 different combinations of red yarns making up the stripes. The black chevron accent stripes are slightly raised for extra detail.

The bag measures 14 1/2 inches wide with a slight taper toward the top. It is 10 inches deep with a nice, flat bottom. The lining is a cotton fabric with an Asian feel. It reminds me of bamboo. Two inside pockets and a magnetic snap closure

The handles are recycled black leather from a thrift store purse. They measure 16 inches end-to-end with a 7 inch drop from the top of the curve to the top of the bag.

This bag is machine washable on gentle. Air dry.
