Seahorse 4x4 Tile
Description
A seahorse hovers near some kelp. Did you know that seahorses are the only species whose male becomes pregnant? Of course the pregnancies only last about 2-3 weeks. Figures...This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed in cobalt blue, which is sponged off the raised portions, emphasizing its sculptural dimension.
This tile hangs as a diamond shape. It measures roughly 3 and 3/4 inches from flat side to flat side or about 5 and 1/4 inches if you measure from point to point. It is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges.
It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
