Variegated Sock Yarn - Yosemite

Description

The towering granite walls and tranquil High Sierra landscape of the Yosemite Valley have inspired artists for generations. This colorway captures this stunning place with deep pine & bright grass greens, against the blue/gray of Half Dome and El Capitan in the distance. This would make a great pair of socks for a hiker!

Yarn Details: This yarn is a next-to-skin soft blend of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon. It is durable enough to handle socks but soft enough to be appropriate for lace or other garments. I only use the highest quality base yarns that I would want to knit with myself!

75% Superwash Merino Wool / 25% Nylon
3.5 oz / 463 yards / 100 grams
Fingering Weight
7-8 Stitches = 1” on #1-3 needles
Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry

All destination yarns are dyed with professional acid dyes for wash fast results. I am extremely careful to make sure that all of the dye is set, however as with any hand dyed yarn it is a good idea to hand wash items separately the first time just to be safe.
