This is a display piece from early - mid 1900's.
The signage reads" Chandler's Buttons- Each Tablet contains Acetophenetidin, Caffeine, Scetyl Salicylic Acid (aspirin)

For Simple Paine and Simple Headache Packed by Chandler Medicine Co. St Louis, MO Sold Since 1888 Price 10 cents

There are 12 individual boxes which are empty. They read "trial size made in usa sold since 1888. Directions: Take one button; if convenient sit or lie down, be quiet for a few minutes. If neccessary, repeat dose, but not before two hours.
Caution: Avoid overdoes or habitual use as it may cause serious blood disturbances. Package adopted, March, 1940.

Aged white board and navy blue is in pristine condition considering it's age.
