one-of-a-kind wheel thrown vase with original hand painted retro-inspired pin-up from a series of four elements

she is "flame" and along with her sisters earth, heavens, and water they are what our world is all about

these pin-ups round out my tattoo collection with my most labor intensive and elaborate work

each image is hand painted with no less than three layers of underglaze to achieve vivid clear colors after coating with glaze and firing to 2200 degrees. no decals or transfers are ever used in my work

this is a thoughtful gift for anyone interested in the idea that women are vessels for new life or someone who just likes traditional pin-up tattoos
