Description

This cat is a protector and memory-keeper of kitties past and present. Each of the seven kitties within are based on the personalities of real cats, including a fluffy white cat, three different black cats, a tortoiseshell and a tabby. This piece was made as a custom portrait for a customer who wanted a special way to commemorate her cats, present and past, but it has been requested by other customers often enough that I'm now offering it as a print and ACEO in my shop. The original drawing is 11 inches tall and was created entirely by hand using pointillist/stippling techniques (each dot in the image was placed individually). This print has been made by carefully shrinking a high-resolution scan of the original; all the original details are preserved perfectly.

The print is produced with archival inks on archival matte paper (the combined colorfastness rating is over 100 years if displayed under glass).

The print will be signed and dated (back or front, your choice), then shipped in a protected mailer promptly. I make my own bend-proof packaging by reusing materials whenever possible to be more eco-friendly, but if you prefer I use more traditional packaging, just let me know.

Note: the framed image is just to give you an idea of what it might look like framed; the print comes neither with frame nor black border (though it does have extra white space around the edges to make for easier matting).

8x10 prints available for 20 dollars.
11x14 black matting (firts 8x10 prints) available for 5 dollars (plus an increase in shipping that I will calculate based on destination).

However, as a thank you for helping me avoid fees, all customers paying with RME will receive an extra goodie with their shipment.
