Ministry of Truth:
Newspeak
War is peace.
Two and two make five.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.

This is an assemblage created in a vintage light cage. I used an old metal base, rusted scissors,wire, a glass ball and other strange found objects to create the work. On top is a “Big Brother” face inside a rusted round piece. The above quotes were taken from a salvaged George Orwell’s classic book “1984.”

I used the quotes on the scissor blades and other places on the work
The work is approximately 11 inches high.
