What a peaceful and beautiful word.
It represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us.
It is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another, or, put another way: "The LIGHT in me honors the LIGHT in you"....

~*~*~*~WEE INFORMATION~*~*~*~
The "NAMASTE" dish measures about 4 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide and curves up around it's edges about an 1/4". I painted the inside of the dish with a little birdie in a cross legged seated yoga pose, wings at heart, head bowed and wrote the word NAMASTE. The underside is a gorgeous serene blue/green/teal and is signed and dated by yours truly.

All of my functional pottery is painted with lead free/food safe glazes and is microwave and dishwasher safe, although I do recommend hand washing, just to be safe.... these are works of art, after all! Please do not put this in the oven!

This is an adorable dish and it will look fabulous in any room in the house: the bedroom holding jewelry; the bathroom holding hairpins; the kitchen or dining room holding candy, a small side dish or perhaps a candle or incense; the office holding paper clips.
This little dish would also be a fantastic gift for your yoga instructor!!
