Description
The wooden bottlestoppers are handmade by my husband on the lathe and each one is unique. Danish oil is applied to bring out the beauty of the wood and then several coats of polyurethane are applied for shine and durability.This one is about 5 inches (13 cm) long from top of wood to bottom of the metal stopper part. The stopper part is chrome.
Each stopper comes in a luxurious wine colored, gold lined velvet bag perfect for gift giving.
The wood used for this one is Ambrosia Maple which features a beautiful grain running through it. The stopper on this one is a modern looking chrome.
The stoppers are not like those cork ones that become brittle and break off leaving you with just the top part. The heavy metal stopper is screwed into the wooden topper and is virtually indestructible. The rubber gives you a tight seal. Fits most standard size corked wine bottles.
