“A Little Tale”…

Witch Disturbia was the most powerful witch in all of the lands and realms that exist, not just the human one.

Her very great powers; her wisdom; her knowledge of medicine, medicinal herbs, and potions; her spellwork; her psychic and levitation abilities; gemstones and moon phase knowledge; ability to communicate telepathically with animals; and all the other witch and wizard abilities, talents, gifts, and areas of knowledge, etc. were known by, not only human witches and wizards, but also by all the Elementals, faeries, the Unseelie Court, hobbits, gnomes, demons, and those in spirit in Summerland. Her reputation was Universal in this world and the next.

In addition, and most importantly, she was known for never breaking or violating the Wiccan Rede, the 12 Universal Laws or doing harm intentionally. Thus, she accumulated no karma debt in this life. Many felt the Goddess herself was watching and aware of Disturbia. After all, it was indeed the Goddess who bestowed all these wondrous gifts and abilities in Disturbia like little seeds waiting to grow and blossom. But, it was up to Disturbia to make them flourish and strong. Like all of us, Disturbia had free will and could have chosen another path, not the one chosen for and given to her by the Goddess. But, fortunately, Disturbia accepted the Goddess’ life plan for her in this life and thus flourished beyond any other witch or wizard combined.

Witches learn their craft and religion in many ways. It is common for a witch to possess a Book of Shadows and a Grimoire. But, Disturbia had neither….never had. Nor had she ever owned any other book. Why one may ask… because Disturbia could not read due to her blindness.

She was born birth. Thus, all the spells, altar preparation, recipes, names of plants and mushrooms, elementals, the Wiccan Rede, The Universal Laws, the Holidays, moon phases, herbal knowledge, and all the rest of her knowledge of everything, she learned through memorization. That is why you see not one book in or in her hutch.

Disturbia’s altar was spotless, she could find the four directions with ease, knew where the North Star was, tell you what phase the moon was in, what herb she was holding, tell poisonous from safe mushrooms with ease, write the names of her bottles’ contents on labels, and walk through familiar and unfamiliar parts of the Enchanted Forest, the Enchanted Meadow, and Fairyland with ease.

She did not view her lack of vision as a handicap. Her other senses grew very strong and powerful and it was as if she could see like any other sighted being. She accepted her fate and continued onward toward her destiny. She felt if she were to get her sight, she would be able to tell the colors apart, name the trees, plants, and herbs, and be able to read without ever having been taught. This self acceptance of herself and her fate gave her the peace and freedom to focus on her other gifts and her life, thus, perfecting her craft and adhering to her religious beliefs.

Being “well know” meant nothing to Disturbia from an ego standpoint. To her, being well known meant that all those in trouble, hurt or suffering in some way, and who needed help would hear or know of her, where to find her, and would seek her out. And, help all she did. This applied to humans, animals, elementals, faeries, and spirits.

Why just last Spring, a little brown squirrel with a broken foot hobbled miles to her door for help. She carried him inside her little cottage, fixed his foot, tended to him, and then sent him home to his family tree with a bag of peanuts.

So, maybe the moral of this “Little Tale” is… life, with its dual nature, gives each one of us plusses and minuses in our looks, intellectual level, health, socio-economic level, and etc. It is up to us to use our free will to choose if we are going to focus on the plusses and let them over shadow the minuses or vice versa. You are the one free to choose. So, my friends chose wisely and you shall be happy, at peace, and reap the rewards of your gifts.

“The Scoop”…

You will not find another original one-of-a-kind hutch as well crafted, altered, detailed, and filled with so many one-of-a-kind handmade items, in addition to being signed and dated, anywhere for this price.

This miniature dollhouse scale (1:12) pine hutch is 7” tall and 4“wide. The color of it is a gorgeous English navy blue, modified by me, of course. I adore this color and feel as if I could lose myself in it forever.

The hutch is filled to the brim with so many wondrous, curious, spooky, fairytale witchy and enchanted items such as… a black winged mirror; a mounted black skull; a skeleton’s bone; a crystal ball; an altar ready for spellwork to begin; bottles of this and bottles of that; two green pointy bottles with numbers, not names on them, perhaps to mask their contents; a fairy circle hanging on a drawer knob; three Ouija boards on the wall of one shelf; and many other surprises and enchantments… all the things a witches might need to do her spells and administer to those who needed healing.

Have loads of fun discovering all the enchanted, magical, fun spooky, and fantasy items, I created for you to find and enjoy. Let your imagination and fantasy run wild and let enchantment abound.

I make my hutches one at a time… from start to finish. There is no assembly line in my workshop. No elves either. For this reason, this is truly one-of-a-kind. I keep no written “recipes” for the color or instructions for the items I create to put into/on my hutches. Pieces on this hutch are from nature or created at the time I was working on it from materials at hand at that time. Thus, it cannot be duplicated.

This is an original idea, design, and story by me.

It is not a toy. However, it was made to be used and enjoyed. From a smoke free home, this hutch comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed, numbered, and dated. It is one-of a kind. Each item is attached to the cabinet with non toxic glue. It is 1:12 or miniature dollhouse scale.

Ideal for: dollhouses, room boxes, dioramas, witch, wizard, vampire, fantasy displays or as a collectible.
