forged copper, sterling Poppy pendant
Description
This hand forged pendant features contrasting layers of warm copper and cool silver. Each piece is cut from a sheet, textured with a cross peen hammer, and formed into my version of a flower. The hammer texture catches the light, and makes the pendant sparkle just a bit. A forged stem of sterling silver forms the large bail.The bail itself is 6mm in diameter, so this pendant came be worn on lots of different chains, cords,...whatever you like.
The flower portion is 7/8 inch in diameter ~ 22mm
The total length is 1 1/4 inches ~ 31mm
