20 historic postcards SALE on Mysterious grandfather POSTCARD TREASURE

My grandfather Peter, who I never met, left hundreds of unused postcards,-collected on his travels around Europe as an young sculptor around the 1910-1920. He came from this tiny farm in the middle of nowhere in Norway, and I have never quite grasped how he travelled to Oslo to become an artist and from there ventured on into Europe. He obviously bought postcards from all the sculptures, churches and cities he visited instead of taking snapshots.

They are all in black and white (of course..), unused and in very good condition, -with a nice smell of attic:) They are absolutely gorgeous and it is quite amazing to see how empty the cities were! I have tons from Venice, Florence, Rome, Munich and Paris.
All these postcards were brought back again to very outback of Norway, where he survived as a cabinetmaker and died when my mother was only two.

I certainly can´t manage to use up this collection in a lifetime, so I want to share it with my fellow etsonians at a bargain! I will send a collection of 20 postcards ( the REAL thing, no scans), they are obviously too many to photograph so these pictures represent a typical pick I would make. You can also order more specific if you only want : Scultpures, sculpture heads, churches, church interior,cities, cities in Germany, France, Italy etc.
You have my blessing to cut them up and use them in your art, I am sure he would have been pleased. I have made a selection of his travels to decorate by bathroom:)
