Typewriter - 1950s Fern Green Underwood Finger-Flight Champion

We are so excited to have stumbled upon this gem! This beautiful working lady is a poet at heart. The contrast between the fern green body and the forest green keys is stunning. Write something romantic on her please.

All keys and hammers are working correctly. The black ribbon still works, but a heavy user will need to replace it soon. Though this typewriter is fully functional, it could use a little elbow grease to make it really shine.

Includes original case, which has a matching shimmery interior. The case is in overall good shape, but it takes a little bit of muscle to get it closed tight.

We have been unable to find the out the exact model and year for this typewriter. We believe that it was manufactured in 1953 or 1954, as it shares the body and paint finish of the 1952 Underwood Finger-Flight Champion but has the semi-script Underwood emblem that we found on the two-toned 1954 De Luxe Quiet Tab. Because this typewriter does not have the wing-like paper supports featured in the De Luxe Quiet Tab, we believe this is a Finger-Flight Champion
