Description
This sweater has been on quite a journey. It was originally a sweater that was handmade by a family friend-- top quality merino wool in a gorgeous shade of eggplant. This sweater was never worn, as it seemed too special to wear on just any occasion.I inherited it, deconstructed it, and pieced it back together in this feminine and infinitely more wearable shape. Then I spent hours embellishing the collar, hems and sleeves with dense and gorgeous rippling ruffles with distressed edges and detailed top stitching. The waist is elasticized and has one button closure. This top fits a size medium. The model measures bust 34, waist 26 inches for reference, but the sweater will fit up to a 38 inch bust and 33 inch waist comfortably.
This sweater is one of a kind.
