Vampire Moon - Red, White and Pearl Solid Resin Ring

Description

This ring is made from red, black and pearl resin. It was inspired by the the many vampire books, movies and stories that are around right now, like Twilight, true Blood and the Vampire Diaries.

This ring is bold and chunky and the face of it is comprised of a smokey swirl of resin done in a pearlized tint.

THE PROCESS: Made completely by hand, this ring is OOAK. I spend time creating my own molds for my rings before pouring pigment tinted resins. After the resin has been poured and it has cured, I then sculpt to find the overall shape of the ring before I start the sanding process. This takes time and patience, and a steady hand. The final stage of each ring is polishing to a brilliant shine.

Each ring is time consuming, but it is always fascinating to watch a ring evolve, take shape, and I enjoy seeing how the colors melded together in the mold. Resin can never be an exact science, especially when you are using more than one color.

There will be other "Vampire Inspired" rings available in the shop, over time, in different sizes and shapes, but each one will be OOAK due to the nature of working with resin. No two will ever be alike. When you purchase this ring, you will own a unique piece of wearable art.

We can make every endeavor to make a ring like the one you love, but I can not guarantee it will look EXACTLY like the one pictured due to the nature of resin, but it will be just as beautiful, using the same color resins in the same manner and ring style. It will take 2-3 days to make a custom ring.
