PRISM Hand Painted Superwash Merino Wool/Nylon Sock Yarn, Fingering Weight, 462 Yards
Description
The base yarn I use is a soft commercially spun blend of 75% superwash Merino wool and 25% nylon. There's bright red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The third picture shows the yarn as it came out of the dyepot before reskeining.This particular skein has longer color sections than some of my other sock yarns. Each color section is a little over 12 inches long.
There are 462 yards (422 meters), it's from a smoke-free shop with no indoor pets, and comes wound into a center-pull ball. The gauge: 7-8 stitches = 1" on #1-#3 needles. (Machine or hand wash separately, tumble dry low or lay flat to dry.) Thanks for looking!
