Whirling Dervish Earrings
Description
2 1/2" long by 1" wide earrings of vintage, bronze findings that remind me of whirling dervishes. Suspended from the bronze are 18mm x 15mm rustically faceted, rose quartz drops. I've applied a very light verdigris patina to highlight detail and finished these earrings with bronze, lever-back earwires.I stumbled upon a cache of vintage brass, bronze and copper stampings. I was just so taken with their beauty and form I had to work with them in some way-- they truly have a grace from another era and constantly inspire me.
